Order and Delivery Terms
GENERAL
The customer of Knokkon Textiles Company Oy (hereinafter the Customer) must be an adult, natural and legally competent person or a legal entity. Legal entities do not have the same rights as consumer customers, for example in relation to returns. Products are sold to selected EU countries and product prices include VAT. Products are not delivered to Åland. These terms apply to all orders placed by the Customer in the Knokkon Textiles Company Oy online store.
Products are ordered in the online store by adding the selected products to the shopping cart and paying for the contents of the cart through the online payment service. It is important to check the order at each stage of the ordering process and once more before submitting the order to Knokkon Textiles Company Oy. A contract between the Customer and Knokkon Textiles Company Oy is formed when the Customer receives an order confirmation to the email address provided.
By placing an order, the Customer is deemed to have read and accepted the terms and conditions in force at the time of ordering. A placed order is binding on the Customer, who is obliged to pay for the order. The Customer may register if they wish, in which case the information provided will be stored by Knokkon Textiles Company Oy. The information requested in connection with the order will not be used for any purpose other than fulfilling the order or resolving any related uncertainties.
Knokkon Textiles Company Oy reserves the right not to offer all payment methods at all times or, alternatively, to suggest changing the payment method if the payment method selected by the Customer does not work for any reason when placing the order.
PAYMENT
The payment service provider of the online store is Visma Pay (Paybyway Oy, Business ID 2486559-4), which is registered in the payment institution register maintained by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. Payments are made through Visma Pay’s online service, and Visma Pay or Paybyway Oy will appear as the payment recipient on the account statement and invoice. Visma Pay forwards payments to the merchant. Payment is secure, as all payment transaction information is transmitted via an encrypted connection so that no third party can view the payment details.
The sale is made between the online store customer and the online store. The online store is responsible for all obligations related to the sale.

PAYMENT METHODS
Visma Pay:
Through the Visma Pay service, you can pay using online banking credentials, wallets, payment cards (credit/debit), invoice or instalment payment. The available payment methods include: Nordea, Handelsbanken, OP, local cooperative banks, Danske Bank, Savings Banks, Oma Savings Bank, Aktia, Ålandsbanken, S-Bank, Masterpass, Visa, Pivo, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Debit MasterCard.
MobilePay:
You can pay using your MobilePay wallet if you have enabled online payments in the application settings. Payments made with the MobilePay wallet are charged to the payment card linked to the wallet. If charging the payment card fails, MobilePay wallet payments cannot be used in the online store.
Masterpass:
Masterpass is Mastercard’s payment system, which can be used together with a mobile banking application and enables easy, fast and secure online payments.

PROCESSING AND DELIVERY TIME
Orders are processed in approximately one week, in the order in which they are received. If an ordered product is not in stock, the Customer will be contacted. Any exceptional processing times will be announced on the front page of Knokkon Textiles Company Oy’s online store and on social media channels. The Customer will receive an order confirmation to the email address provided.
DELIVERY COSTS AND DELIVERY
The order will generally arrive at the selected pick-up point or home address within 5 business days after the order has been dispatched. The Customer will be contacted if delivery to the address provided by the Customer is not possible for any reason, and an alternative delivery method will be agreed upon. Knokkon Textiles Company Oy reserves the right to change the selected delivery method to one more suitable for the product.
Knokkon Textiles Company Oy reserves the right to cancel the contract if the ordered product cannot be delivered. Knokkon Textiles Company Oy is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or for any indirect inconvenience caused by such delays.
Delivery costs apply to orders within Finland. Original delivery costs will be refunded to the extent that they correspond to the least expensive delivery method offered.
DELIVERY METHODS
Products are delivered within the European Union. Products are not delivered to Åland, Norway or Switzerland. Orders are delivered using one of the delivery methods available in the online store, selected by the Customer when placing the order. If the order is delivered to Posti, the Customer should note that the storage period for parcels delivered to Posti pick-up points is seven (7) days. If the Customer does not collect the shipment within this time, the parcel will be returned to the sender. A return fee will always be charged for uncollected shipments returned to the sender (see Returns and exchanges). Knokkon Textiles Company Oy is not responsible for costs caused by decisions made by Posti or another transport company to move the ordered products to another Posti or transport company location for collection.
DAMAGED PACKAGE OR PRODUCT
If the package or letter containing the ordered products arrives damaged, the condition of the order contents must be checked upon receipt in the presence of the representative of the official party handing over the package. Under the Finnish Road Transport Contracts Act, damage to the shipment must be reported to Posti upon delivery if the damage to the package is externally visible. If the package has been delivered to a Posti parcel locker, any externally visible damage must be reported directly to Posti within 14 days of receiving the package. Knokkon Textiles Company Oy is not responsible for broken, delayed, hindered or completely prevented deliveries if they are caused by circumstances beyond Knokkon Textiles Company Oy’s control.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
A consumer customer has the right under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

After submitting the cancellation notice, the product must be returned without delay and no later than within 14 days.
The consumer is responsible for the costs of returning the product, unless otherwise agreed.
Knokkon Textiles Company Oy will refund the payment no later than 14 days after receiving the cancellation notice. The refund may be withheld until the product has been returned or the return has been reliably proven.
The right of cancellation does not apply to:
– products cut to a specific length or size (for example fabrics)
– other exceptions provided for under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Products have the normal 14-day right of exchange and return. The following products do not have a right of exchange or return: fabrics cut to a specific length or size (an exception under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 6, Section 16) and other products that fall under the statutory exceptions to the right of cancellation.
The Customer undertakes to check the condition and correctness of the ordered products immediately after receiving the order. If the contents of the order differ from the order or if a defect is detected in the product, the Customer is asked to notify Knokkon Textiles Company Oy as soon as possible after detecting the defect by email to info@knokkon.fi or by another reliable written method. The Customer is asked to check the product as soon as possible after receiving it. The Customer is asked to include their name, address and order number in the email. Knokkon Textiles Company Oy has the right to request photographs of the defect giving rise to the complaint.
A complained-about product that Knokkon Textiles Company Oy has confirmed to be defective will be replaced with the same product or with a similar product of equivalent value, if the originally ordered product is not available.
The condition of ordered fabric must always be checked before washing or cutting. Any complaint must always be made regarding an untouched product. If the product/fabric has been taken into use or handled more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, the Customer is responsible for any reduction in value. The right of cancellation also applies to discounted products unless the product falls under the statutory exceptions to the right of cancellation.
Complaints will not be processed if a defect in the product, such as a hole, dropped stitch, colour defect or another similar defect, is only detected after the product has been cut, washed or otherwise taken into use.
The returned product must be in resaleable condition. The consumer has the right to examine the product and check its characteristics in the same way as in a shop. The Customer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the product if it has been handled more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. The returned product must not be dirty, washed, cut, altered, damaged or worn through use.
Knokkon Textiles Company Oy has the right to deduct from the amount refunded to the Customer the part corresponding to the reduction in the product’s value compared with the original value of the ordered product. If the product has become unsellable due to use, the Customer is responsible for the full value of the product. The Customer may have the returned product sent back to them against payment of the delivery costs.
The return of accepted defective products is always carried out as a customer return and is free of charge for the Customer. Other return costs will not be reimbursed to the Customer. If the Customer has returned the product in accordance with the terms, the amount to be refunded to the Customer will be paid without delay and in any case within 14 days of Knokkon Textiles Company Oy receiving the Customer’s return notice. Knokkon Textiles Company Oy may postpone the refund until the return has been received or the Customer has provided reliable proof of the return. The refund will be made using the payment method used by the Customer. If this is not possible, the Customer will be contacted.
The return of non-defective products must always be reported to Knokkon Textiles Company Oy by email before the products are sent back. Non-defective products must be returned to Knokkon Textiles Company Oy at the Customer’s own expense without delay and no later than within 14 days of submitting the return notice. If necessary, the Customer is responsible for proving that the return was made within the deadline, for example with a receipt. If the return is made as a customer return at Knokkon Textiles Company Oy’s expense, the order’s postage costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
If the Customer wishes to exchange a non-defective ordered product for another product, the Customer pays the costs of returning the product, places a new order and pays the delivery costs of the new product.
Custom-made products do not have a right of return.
If the Customer returns only part of the order, postage costs will not be refunded.
Failure to collect an order without separately agreeing on the matter is not sufficient to cancel the sale or return the order. A fee of EUR 9.50 will be charged for an uncollected parcel, and a new postage fee will be charged for any possible reshipment of the order.
Knokkon Textiles Company Oy does not accept returns sent by cash on delivery. Returns must always be agreed in advance.
If a possible dispute concerning the order cannot be resolved through negotiations between the Seller and the Customer, the consumer may contact consumer advice, and the matter may be referred to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.
ORDERING SAMPLES
Knokkon Textiles Company Oy sells samples of fabrics and yarns. The images in the online store are indicative and may differ due to the production batch or the display settings of the device used by the Customer. The option to order a fabric sample is available in the online store for each fabric. Samples are delivered by letter or parcel. A sample shows the colour, shade and material of the fabric. Sample sizes vary and are approximately 5 x 5 cm or approximately 30 cm x 30 cm.
OTHER NOTES
The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. A mobile phone number must always be provided in the order details, as the arrival notification is sent by SMS. If the mobile phone number provided by the Customer is incorrect and the shipment is returned as uncollected as a result, the Customer will be charged the delivery costs of the returned shipment.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE PRICES AND POSTAGE COSTS
The product price and tax breakdown are shown in the shopping cart and order confirmation. Knokkon Textiles Company Oy reserves the right to change prices and is not responsible for any errors in product or pricing information. Knokkon Textiles Company Oy has the right to cancel an order placed at a clearly incorrect price. Any new offers that enter into force do not apply to orders placed earlier.
Knokkon Textiles Company Oy reserves the right to change the delivery method without prior notice if the nature or size of the shipment allows delivery, for example, as a letter, even if parcel delivery has been selected as the delivery method for the order.
Recycled packaging materials may be used in shipments in order to reduce environmental impact.
Stock balances may be updated with a delay of a few days. For this reason, in the case of heavily ordered products, the ordered product may not necessarily be available. If an ordered product is out of stock, it may be changed to a similar product, removed from the order altogether, or left waiting for a new batch to arrive.
There are no backorders. This also applies to products marked as arriving in stock.
Knokkon Textiles Company Oy’s liability for defects is limited to what is required by law. Knokkon Textiles Company Oy does not provide any warranties or assurances beyond what is required by law and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages beyond what is mandatory under applicable law.
